Since its creation in 1994, UPC has focused on providing high quality education oriented towards educating upstanding and innovative leaders with a global vision, so they can transform Peru.

The UPC has more than 25,000 graduates from its three programs:

SCHOLARSHIP HOLDERS

In the last year, UPC awarded scholarships to 20,316 regular undergraduate and WA students, thus contributing to the achievement of their academic goals. The amount invested in scholarships totaled more than 68M.

STUDENTS WHO BENEFIT FROM FINANCING PROGRAMS

2,671 UPC students have benefited from the different external financing programs.

INSTITUTIONAL INFORMATION

  • More than 12,000 UPC students have enjoyed international experiences
  • 100% of our undergraduate, WA and Working Student study programs have international programs that provide students with a global vision of their profession.
  • More than 650 students from the provinces have had an international experience in the last 3 years.
  • More than 290 international agreements.

FACULTY

Up to the 2021-2 semester, UPC had 4360 full- and part-time faculty members.

RESEARCH

  • Fourth place, among all Peruvian universities, according to the Scimago Iber Ranking 2021.
  • Seventh place, among all Peruvian universities, according to the Scimago World Ranking 2021.
  • 476 scientific publications in media (journals, congresses or books) indexed in Scopus and/or WOS.
  • 37 lines of research officially registered with the UPC's Research Department and Sunedu.
  • 20 patents admitted by Indecopi and registered in Patentscope.
  • 680 students with theses or research papers published in Scopus and/or WOS indexed media.
